Summer break!
I’m finally done with school for the rest of spring/summer. This semester was so intense for me, I didn’t really get to touch EC since winter break. Now I can get back to working on it without guilt of neglecting my school work. My goal now is to have it released some time in June, so you guys can play it over the summer.

Update
As I expected, school kept me too busy to be able to get this game released by the end of the month (I also should’ve made the list of things to get done in the game before setting that ridiculous goal). Hopefully I can get back into the productive groove I was in over winter break.
At least have a pixel drawing I did a couple weeks ago.

Update
I hope you all had a good winter break. I was pretty productive with EC over the past few weeks and was able to get quite a bit done. I still have a pretty big list of things to finish, but my goal is to try and get this ready to be released by the end of the month. I’m not making any promises though, because school is starting in a couple days and I am unsure about how the workload is going...

Small update
School started last week and it has kept me pretty busy. I can still take time out to work on EC, but some days I’ve been too busy to even touch anything. There’s a special area in the game that I have to create very differently from the other ones. I’m still figuring it out, but I say progress for it is going well.

Sorry I havent updated in a while.
Some other personal projects have been keeping my attention along with video games and general laziness. Even though I haven’t touched RPG maker in nearly a month, I’ve still been fleshing out the areas of my game and just recently started working on the assets again. I plan to have the tilesets done by the end of August and I promise another screenshot by the end of this week.

Finals are over for me and now I actually have time to continue my game. I plan to release the next demo by the end of summer. I know I said the end of spring last time, but shit comes up and I want to make sure my next release has everything I want in it. Imortant update
I decided to make some changes to my game.
I’m going to change Anne’s name to Anotsuki along with making her sprite more fitting.
I’m also trashing the story all together and adding more blood and dark with endless looping areas. that way you guys can think up the story yourself. :)

So in yume nikki, violet, and .flow, you can make water tiles passable, and when the player character walks on them, half of the tile is over their feet like they’re actually in the water. Unfortunately it looks like rm2k3 doesn’t let that happen anymore (water just turns into one weird big puddle).

If it's necessary to explain things to put the game in the right contest it'd be a good idea, but if the game can be enjoyed without it and it's not that needed, you might as well leave it out and release a better demo when it's completely ready.

What the hell is Elysium City?
Because Uboachan is down, I’m going to post a quick summary of my game for any newcomers.
Anne is a young inventor who ran away from home and took refuge in an abandoned house. She then creates a portal to a new and strange land in hoping to find a better home.
