I’m finally done with school for the rest of spring/summer. This semester was so intense for me, I didn’t really get to touch EC since winter break. Now I can get back to working on it without guilt of neglecting my school work. My goal now is to have it released some time in June, so you guys can play it over the summer.

Because I don’t have too much of the art assets left to do, I might post only one or two more screenshots of my progress. I will make sure to put up a livestream sometime soon of what I wanted to show over my spring break. Also be prepared to see more illustrations or concept art and silly things you might not care about.

As I expected, school kept me too busy to be able to get this game released by the end of the month (I also should’ve made the list of things to get done in the game before setting that ridiculous goal). Hopefully I can get back into the productive groove I was in over winter break.

I hope you all had a good winter break. I was pretty productive with EC over the past few weeks and was able to get quite a bit done. I still have a pretty big list of things to finish, but my goal is to try and get this ready to be released by the end of the month. I’m not making any promises though, because school is starting in a couple days and I am unsure about how the workload is going to be. I just hope things will go better than last semester…

I will have one more screenshot on the way.

I’m asking for donations because with all that is happening to me with my living situation and rent, I have no peace of mind to work on Fleshchild, Miwa, or The Looking Glass. I simply cannot work on them when debt is imminent, and I have been running around for months trying to get my life in order. Donating to help me with rent will keep me focused on my games and creating content that so many of you have come to love.

It’s coming along fine. I haven’t posted an update in a while because there’s really nothing worth posting. I’ve just been fixing bugs and trying to finish up some areas. my finals are almost over though and I have 3 weeks of winter break coming up. I hope to get a lot done during that time.

By the way, would any of you be interested in watching a livestream of me working on some of the game over the break?

Thank you! Before my life went downhill recently, I was planning on getting the game ready for people to play test. I haven’t opened up spots yet, but some things are getting better and I’m starting to get back on my feet. I will hopefuly be able to make something for people to play test soon.

I’m sorry to say that I have no Idea when I will be releasing the demo. I am dealing with a lot of stressful things right now and getting EC done has been on my mind enough as it is. I will still keep working on it from time to time so I’m not saying this is going on a hiatus, but please bare with me. I want to release this as much as you guys want to play it (maybe even more).

School started last week and it has kept me pretty busy. I can still take time out to work on EC, but some days I’ve been too busy to even touch anything. There’s a special area in the game that I have to create very differently from the other ones. I’m still figuring it out, but I say progress for it is going well.

I keep forgetting that this is also an art blog for EC, so I will make sure to sketch up something for my next update.

I am disappointed in myself for how little I got done over the summer. I ended up spending a lot of time working on other personal projects and [spoiler]modding Skyrim[/spoiler]. I finally started to manage my time better by spending at least an hour or two working on EC. School is starting again and procrastinating from school work will probably speed up my work for this game haha. Sorry this screenshot isn’t as impressive as the last two I posted, but my next one will be my last and then I’ll start on making the sprites and scripting. I will also need play testers later for when I start finishing up.

An update on the game would be nice...

These two places were probably the most challenging for me to make so far. I feel they could still use some touching up, but I need to move on to other areas(I just realized I need to add graffiti to the castle).

As a side note, I notice my productivity goes way up after the Vocaloidm@aster events, cause I need something to do while I’m listening to all those new albums.

Some other personal projects have been keeping my attention along with video games and general laziness. Even though I haven’t touched RPG maker in nearly a month, I’ve still been fleshing out the areas of my game and just recently started working on the assets again. I plan to have the tilesets done by the end of August and I promise another screenshot by the end of this week.
